I’m heavily embedded in the world of startups. If there’s one single trait that has been learned over the years, it’s resilience. I’m a problem-solver and always eager to learn. I’ve worked on a wide range of projects and learned a diverse set of skills through these experiences. My background is in design and I’m also a self-taught developer as a result of being involved with several ventures and startups.
Abilities: Project management, user research, ideation, product styling, transportation design, prototyping, Colors Materials and Finishes (CMF), market research, concept development, product visualizations, rendering, sketching, manufacturing, and environmental sustainability.
Software and tools: SolidWorks by Dassault Systèmes, Rhino3D, KeyShot, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and SketchUp. Experience in metalshop environments, woodshop environments, model making studios, and 3D printing and rapid prototyping labs.
Abilities: Primarily versed in front end development. Managed projects with front end and back end developers. Enthusiastically working towards being a full-stack developer. Worked with Arduino to make hardware prototypes on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) projects.
Software and tools: Visual Studio Code by Microsoft, Atom, Magento, WordPress, Coda, and some experience with Anaconda. Tools include GitHub, CodePen, FullStory, MailChimp, Intercom, Marketo, Segment, Import.io, and SalesForce.
UI / UX
Abilities: Project management, product design, user research, interviews, wireframing, A/B testing, ideation, storytelling, and feature development. Development of click-through models, prototypes, visual mockups, and live web apps.
I started DJ’ing with vinyl on Technics 1200s and a barebones two-channel mixer. This was before the digital world made everything simple for beatmatching. Today you can quantize at the push of a button. I’ve DJ’d live sets all over, including Burning Man and have a passion for music. I’ve used these skills in the audio world to support all aspects of my work. I’ve hacked modular eurorack systems to develop auditory prototypes, artistic works, and live performances. I also work with analog and digital synthesizers, sound generation tools and music production software.
